CLAYMORE was built for Caeldonian MacBrayne services but sold to Seacontainers in 1997 for use on the new Ballycastle - Cambeltown service which was managed by the Steam Packet in Douglas. Following this service she was laid up in Birkenhead and later sold to Pentland Ferries.
